ABOUT THIS CLASS
The focus for Open Studio is the development of your individual creative practice, both conceptually and technically. Support is given by individual mentoring, resource sharing, ideas sharing and discussions and demonstrations. New artists are looked at and discussed in the class offering some further art appreciation.
This is an ongoing class that runs all year in 6 week blocks. As a new participant we discuss your goals and develop and individual learning and focus plan. This may include the technical and professional skills you wish to develop in your practice and how to do so. It may also include producing a body of work to exhibit in the future.
Being part of a supportive creative community can be an inspiring part of your over all art practice in your own studio developing and sharing ideas and making the commitment once a week to a group builds skills gradually but surely.

Day 10.30am - 1pm also offered is a Thursday evening group 6pm- 8.30 pm Participants can make up classes in all sessions but need to book into one.
