Choose either oil or acrylic paint. This course provides a solid foundation in all aspects of painting. You learn how to mix colours, how to see tonal values, how to apply paint and use mediums, different brush types and how to paint what you see, using easy to follow measuring techniques. You will learn about different types of substrates, such as canvas and be introduced to artists work and styles. This course leads to ongoing painting classes in OPEN STUDIO and is a solid grounding. Suitable for beginners and experienced. All welcome.
