This course follows on from Foundation Painting. In this 6 week block we learn to transcribe from master painters. Developing our technical knowledge in styles that are of interest to the student. This is a tradition painting method to learn how to paint. Shari will give demonstrations throughout the course and provide resources to work from along with talks on different artists.  We further delve into colour mixing and extend knowledge of how to mix colours you want. There is also the choice to continue with still life painting using your own objects and / or set up using either oil or acrylic paints.  For health and safety only small amounts of odourless solvent to be used in the studio. for oil painters.
