Workshop description

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend the day with master painter Graeme Altmann, learning a range of techniques to help your painting. Graeme will describe and demonstrate multiple techniques to interpret the landscape using oil paint. Graeme will also offer Q and A time to answer your individual questions about techniques and approaches. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced painters and is not to be missed. Early booking recommended to avoid disappointment.

What you will learn

• You will produce a series of small studies. Experienced painters may bring a larger canvas if they prefer.
• How to interpret the landscape in different ways.
• How to mix colours
• How to use oil paint
• How to use glazes
• Mineral effects
